While I’ve always had a love of photography, and even studied it in college, somehow life took a different course once our children began playing school sports.  I started out being the team photographer for lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, football, and rowing, and focused on that through high school and even at the college level.  During those years I also began taking the family "Christmas Card" photo and many "Senior" photos and extending that process to designing their cards through my stationery business.  As Andy Warhol once said, "The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do."   I know my sports and family photographs will bring wonderful memories to so many families.

When we moved to Vero Beach, FL for 8 months and Cape Cod for 4 months, my photography focus changed.  On the Cape, I spend most of my time taking photographs of landscapes involving the water, sand, or boats, and the early morning light or sunsets.  In the winter months in Vero Beach, I find myself fasicinated with the birdlife - raptors, waterfowl and shorebirds.  I also love experimenting with long exposure water scenes.  These photos come to life in client's homes with large acrylic prints which I sell. However, in both locations, my portrait photography seems to take priority with extended family shoots, children and grandchildren sessions, and proposal and engagement shots.

Wherever I am, I enjoy the outdoor life and the beautiful nature that surrounds me.
